Winter Blues.

Don't get me wrong, I love Winter. The long coats, trenches, new pant styles and scarves have me layering like its 0 degrees. But honestly, bring back Summer. After getting a spray tan and booking a trip to Byron Bay for my 21st, i really can't wait for the long hot nights, holidays and well, denim shorts we all love. 6 months to go.

Cheap Thrills.

Ever since the photo of Nicole Richie in the amazing Burberry Coat his the media stands and become a bloggers dream, i have been lusting over ever single thing about it. The cut, shoulders, buttons, colour and everything about it makes it the perfect coat... except one thing, the Burberry price tag. Much to my delight, and i am sure to many poor uni students on a minimum wage, Portmans had copied ( well, mimicked ) the look and it can now be yours ( and mine ) for $159.99. Thank god for knockoff versions.

Well, where do i start. My thoughts on good ol' Terry Richardson vary from day to day. The man is a photographic genius yes, but does he just take it TOO far sometimes. His images are borderline pornographic but i guess that just adds to his personal style, not to mention the drama and scandal that comes with them. Anyway, i came across Terry's blog and it's a little too good, for now anyway.

CROCHETED at COACHELLA.

Since it kicked off in 1999, the Coachella Festival has become known as much for its fashions as it has for the live music. The festival took place over this weekend and i found myself daydreaming many times about how much i wanted to be there. Looks like i will have to wait for Splendour in the Grass which is looking just as amazing!
While i am yet to find many photos on what everyone was wearing, i do like Kate Bosworths ensemble ( everyone likes a KATE UPDATE ). Can't wait to be inundated by the pictures over the next week.

21st Season.

All my lovely friends are turning 21 this year, and as my birthday approaches in July, i must soon start the dreaded ( but much loved ) ' perfect 21st dress shopping '.
Last night was my best friend birthday, which might i add was a little amazing. This is the dress she wore by Ginger and Smart and i am a little in love, perhaps i will just steal this!

As you would have noticed by now, Sportsgirl have been keeping their eyes firmly trained on the runways to stay one step ahead and bring us high end pieces at high street prices. The next eight piece capsule 'The High Priestesses of Rock & Roll' is set to be the hottest yet, with my favourite Australian designer Ellery ( ELLLLLLEEERYYYY).

a Sad Sad Day.

My favourite little store, which always helps me out with huge discounts on some pretty amazing brands, nearly bought me to tears. There i was, scanning the racks for something amazing when it landed in my hands, a beautiful navy and white stripped silk, backless Maurie and Eve dress, for only $120 ( originally $280 ), only one left! I raced into that change room so quickly, but i was left with disappointment. The dress fit perfectly, held everything in so beautifully, until my lack of chest let me down. The straps kept falling and it just wouldn't work. Give a chest less girl some sympathy would you.

Marry Me Alice Dellal.

Look up edgy in the dictionary and next to it you will see Alice Dellal. The tattooed, half shaven, pierced daughter of Brazilian model Andrea Dellal makes me melt with every new picture or controversy i see her in. Her off duty street style is one to muse oiver and her skeleton tattoo is exactly what i want but would never have the balls to get..damn.
